No contracts
“We don’t lock you into contracts.” Stated plainly and repeatedly in CityPulse’s own advertising. You stay because it is working.
Marketing for local service businesses
CityPulse Ventures is a marketing agency for local service businesses. Most local agencies never set foot in the building. We show up, shoot original footage of you and the work, advertise it in your area, and track every call it brings in. Our deepest track record is in independent auto repair — that is where the case studies below come from — and the same model runs for HVAC, roofing, other home services, and higher-ticket local businesses like chiropractic.
Cumulative across every shop CityPulse and its Storyline-era team have filmed and advertised for — not a snapshot of accounts running today.

Why us
We do the opposite. We drive out to you, film you and the work, edit it, get your approval, and run it as advertising in your own area. You never read a script. There is no contract. And we measure the whole thing in calls and booked jobs, not page views. We cut our teeth in independent auto repair, and the model travels — HVAC, roofing, other home services, and higher-ticket local businesses like chiropractic.
We come to you.
“We come to your shop and record exactly what it needs to bring in more customers.” That is how we have always put it, and it holds whether the bay is a garage, a van or a treatment room. Most local agencies never visit the business they advertise. It is the hardest thing on this list for a competitor to copy.
“We don’t lock you into contracts.” Stated plainly and repeatedly in CityPulse’s own advertising. You stay because it is working.
“We don’t make you read scripts or become actors.” This is the objection that keeps most owners off camera, and the model is built to remove it.
“We don’t take your money, say ‘hey, look at these page views!’ and then call it a day.” We track where the buyers actually came from.
The Five Gears
The weakest one caps everything above it. That is the whole idea, and it is why we look at all five before we sell you advertising.
The free Five Gears Quiz scores all five and tells you which one is costing you the most.
Whether enough of the right people know you exist and want what you sell.
Whether the calls and messages you already get turn into booked work.
Whether the work you sold gets delivered on time and at quality.
Whether the business runs the same way on a bad week as it does on a good one.
How profitable your business actually is when everything else is running on full cylinders.
How it works
Three steps, and two things you can bolt on when the calls start coming in. It runs the same whether you fix cars, furnaces, roofs or backs.
We drive out, and we record exactly what your business needs to bring in more customers. Shop floor, job site or front desk — we film where the work happens. You do not write anything, learn anything, or become an actor. We film you doing what you already do.
We cut the footage, and you see it before anyone else does. Nothing goes live until you have signed it off. Then we put it in front of people in your own area.
We track every call and every booking back to the ad that produced it, so you know where your buyers came from. We will not hand you a screenshot of page views and call that a result.
Optional. We can chase the leads the ads bring in, so a busy week at the counter does not cost you the work.
Optional. We can put a chatbot on your social accounts so you are not stuck monitoring messages between jobs.
The math
Drag to your own monthly ad spend. The three figures are returns CityPulse has published from real client accounts — the low, typical and high end of what has actually happened.
Return at this spend · per month
A garage-door repair client averaging “a solid 3X return” on Facebook and YouTube ads.
AutoWorks, published as “achieving 12-16x ROAS per month” — the low end of that range.
AutoWorks again, published as “16X ROAS” — the top of the same range.
Illustrative only, and based on past client results as published in CityPulse's own advertising. Those figures have not been reconciled against ad-account exports or client financial records. This is not a projection, a quote or a guarantee — your shop, your market and your spend will produce different numbers.
A note from Isaak
Before CityPulse I did marketing across a lot of industries and a lot of countries — Utah to Romania, the Philippines to Spain. I built broad competence across most areas of a business, and I am glad I did. But two things were missing.
The first is that I was always hopping around. I never built one solid thing that was my own. The second is who I wanted to build it for: the local business owner who is genuinely trying their best and is hungry to improve, but has never been exposed to the business knowledge, mindsets and strategies that more cutting-edge companies take for granted. Still advertising in the paper. Still thinking, if I just had more customers. Still wondering why the business needs them for everything.
In 2024 I focused on the U.S. and helped 30+ local businesses across the country grow beyond what they thought possible. Then I planted my roots back in Western New York, where I live, to build up this area. The Rust Belt can become the Autumn Belt and shine again. That is the whole reason CityPulse exists.

In their words
Both quotes below were published by CityPulse with the owner's name and business attached.
It wasn’t ‘can I afford to advertise with them,’ it was ‘can I afford NOT to’?
The Facebook ads you’ve been running for me the last two months have been kicking ass. I’m getting messages every day, people asking us to come in. We’re also getting a lot of new customers saying they found us either on Instagram or Facebook. If you look around, the shop is busy. We have a few big jobs.
If yours isn't here, ask Isaak directly.
Yes — but you do not have to perform. The whole model is built on filming you and your business, so there is no version of this that works without you in front of a lens. In CityPulse's own words: we don't make you read scripts or become actors. We film you doing what you already do.
No. “We don't lock you into contracts” is stated plainly and repeatedly in CityPulse's advertising. If the work stops paying for itself, you stop.
Three steps: we come to you and record exactly what your business needs to bring in more customers; we edit it all, get your approval, and advertise it in your local area; and we track everything, so both of us know exactly where the buyers came from.
By calls and booked jobs, not impressions. CityPulse measures itself on tracked calls, bookings and revenue, explicitly against agencies that “say ‘hey, look at these page views!’ and then call it a day.”
Isaak Hyde, the founder. The ads put it directly: you'll talk to the founder of CityPulse Ventures, still local to the area. CityPulse is part of the Storyline Marketing Network, so you get that team too — marketers through video editors.
No. Independent auto repair is where we have the deepest track record, and it is where every result on this page comes from — so that is what we show you. The model itself is not auto-specific: we film the owner and the work, run it locally and track the calls. It runs the same for HVAC, roofing and other home services, and for higher-ticket local businesses like chiropractic.
Owners who won't appear on camera at all, since there is no product without footage. Businesses too far out to reach for an on-site shoot, unless travel is priced in. And businesses whose real constraint isn't lead flow — pouring more calls into a broken money model or broken operations makes things worse, which is exactly what the Five Gears Quiz is for.
